Traditional Thai massage has been gaining popularity worldwide. There are lot of people out there who want to know what Thai massage is. This class will be first step to introduce you to Thai culture, Thai Healing and Traditional Thai massage. Students will learn basic techniques as well as history of Thai massage. This class is perfect for a couple that would like to learn and practice on each other, or someone who want to learn and practice on family and significant another. This class is ideal for massage therapist who would like to learn another modalities, and want to gain understanding about Thai massage before taking Basic Thai Massage class or yoga instructor that would like to assist your student in massage. The routines that you will learn in this class are body stretching, palm press and acupressure points. The student will have time to practice on each other. This workshop is open to anyone you don’t have to be a massage therapist.

You expect to learn this class here just like in Thailand. This class will lay a strong foundation for student who would like to practice Thai massage and prepare for further levels. Students expect to learn philosophy,principles, culture, theory and history of Thai massage. You will learn entire body massage through class lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on techniques. Students will participate in ceremony called Wai Kru before performing massage. You will learn 90 minutes routine of Thai massage. The techniques include pressure points on 10 sen-lines, yoga stretching, different part of body tools and pressing, as well as learning a good body alignment for the client, client safety and proper body mechanics for your self. You will be instructed to practice on different partners. There is no requiring for prior massage experience or yoga background,everyone will start from beginning in this class.

Thai herbal compress is a traditional remedy that used for century, found on textbook known as Pra Osoth Pra Narai, written from 1660 – 1687. Students will learn how to incorporate hot herbal compress to your massage routine including Thai massage technique and Swedish massage. You will learn how to made herbal bundle from scratch, the healing property of the herbs as well as the balance recipe in herbal bundle. You will have time to practice on each other.Students will take home 2 herbal bundles for your practice and A Thai Herbal book. The starter kits are also available for purchasing. 

Thai foot massage or reflexology is unique way of Thai healing, which got influenced of China and India (it originated over 5000 year ago). Students expect to learn the map of the reflex points on the feet that correspond to the organs and glands in the body also concept of elements that flow throughout the body and learn acupressure points techniques by using thumb, fingers and wooden stick to stimulate nerve ending on each foot. As well as you will learn the history of Thai Reflexology, several ways of setting to perform foot reflexology and adjust to the client comfort. Student will participate in ceremony called Wai Kru.

Students will learn deeper and have better understanding in Thai massage practice.  More routines to learn from the basic Thai massage, routines included advance yoga stretches, client body alignment, side-lying and seated position, learn to use different tools to massage, the 10 major Sen lines system will be discussed and lean the alternative way to suit the needs of each client. Students will encounter individuals who have unique situation and health related challenges. You will need to accommodate these individuals and modify or adapt position to fit their special needs. This class is more intense, but it will prepare you with whole new skill level. After complete this class you will gain more confidence to work on the client that used to be challenge for you. 

This class is even more intense than intermediate class. Students will be able to integrate the technique from basic and intermediate class into one session that base on special needs. We will focus on theory of advance sen lines therapies for specific dysfunction and disease and also you will learn to evaluate the client with different disorder and planning to create your own routine and use acupressure point effectively for relieving special conditions. You will learn to use different technique and work with client who want deeper pressure.
